Unblock Geo-Location service on Desktop Computers #
When encountering the “User Denied Geolocation, Check Preferences” issue, it is likely that the user has denied access to their geolocation information or has not configured their preferences correctly. This can happen when accessing a website that requires location information. To resolve this issue, it is recommended to follow these steps:
1- Check browser settings: Verify that the browser used to access the store locator has permission to access the user’s location. Look for location settings in the browser’s preferences or settings menu and ensure it is enabled.
2- Clear browser cache: Clearing the browser cache can help resolve location-related issues. Clear the cache and restart the browser to see if the issue persists.
Review device location settings: On iOS devices, navigate to the device’s settings menu and check the location or privacy settings. Ensure that location access is allowed for the browser or application you are using.
3- Check asset URLs: Review the URLs of all the assets (such as images, scripts, and stylesheets) loaded on your secure site. Ensure that they are using the HTTPS protocol instead of HTTP.
