The “Show Category” option is an option in the ASL Settings > UI Tab, through which admins can enable or disable the “Category” feature from the Store Locator control panel. by default, the “Category” drop-down menu is visible. Furthermore, if the category filter is not needed, it can be disabled from “ASL Setting” or by the shortcode below.
The categories dropdown doesn’t appear with the accordion layout, as the accordion layout doesn’t support dropdown filters.
Override it via shortcode attribute #
To override it via the shortcode attribute, you need to add show_categories attribute in the shortcode with the possible values of 0 and 1 to enable or disable.
