Payment Methods

Similar to assigning stores to “Shipping Zones”, users of Agile Store Locator can use the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin to enable store-wise payment methods. As a result, users can assign stores to accept specific payment methods.

Once you enable a certain payment method, you can then use the “Payment Methods” tab on the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin to assign stores to each payment method. In addition, the selected payment for a store will be displayed on the checkout page.

How to Enable/Disable Payment Methods for WooCommerce #

To enable or disable specific payment methods for WooCommerce, please follow the below steps

1. Firstly, go to “Settings” on the WooCommerce plugin
2. Go to the “Payments” tab
3. Enable or disable your preferred payment methods under the “Payment methods” section
4. Click on “Save changes”

How to Assign Stores to Specific Payment Methods #

Now that you have enabled/disabled certain payment methods from the WooCommerce plugin, you can now assign stores to these payment methods.

Moreover, to assign stores to specific payment methods, please follow the below steps:

1. Go to the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin on Agile Store Locator
2. Navigate to the “Payment Methods” tab, here you will find the payment methods you have enabled
3. Activate the “Enable Store Wise Payment” option
4. Click on “Assign” on any “payment method”
5. Assign a store to a payment method by turning it “On” from the “On/Off” column
6. Go back and click on “Save Settings” when you are done

Once you have done this, you will have successfully assigned a store to accept a specific payment method. Moreover, the store will display that specific payment method during checkout.

For example, let’s enable the “Cash on delivery” method, and assign a store (Supreme Clothing Store) to this payment method. As a result, the “Cash on delivery” payment method will appear on the checkout page (just before the “Place Order” button) when we choose to ship a product from the “Supreme Clothing Store”.
