The Header Store Selector Widget lets your customers choose a preferred store location, allowing your WooCommerce site to dynamically change pricing, stock, and availability based on their selection. It is designed to work with Agile Store Locator + WooCommerce integration, and supports both guest users and logged-in customers.

Step 1: Enable Inventory and Store Selector

To get started, you’ll need to enable the Inventory Module and the Store Selector Widget.

Navigate to: Agile Store Locator > WooCommerce > Inventory tab

Enable the Inventory Module toggle.

Under Store Selector Widget Type, choose Header Widget.

Click Save Settings.

This enables per-store pricing, stock handling, and the store selector frontend component.

Step 2: Add the Shortcode

Add the following shortcode to your site header (or wherever you want the selector to appear):

[asl_wc_selector]

By default, this renders a sidebar offcanvas selector powered by Bootstrap 5’s offcanvas system (custom-prefixed
aslcanvas
).

Optional: Show as Popup

You can render the selector as a modal-style popup instead of offcanvas using the
popup
attribute:

[asl_wc_selector popup="1"]

This adds a
asl-selector-popup
class, allowing you to style and position it differently.

Controlling Widget Visibility

By default, the selector widget is not shown on the cart or checkout pages. This behavior can be customized using a WordPress filter:

add_filter('asl_wc_skip_render_store_selector', function($default) {
    // Always show the selector (even on checkout/cart)
    return false;
});

This allows advanced users to programmatically control when the widget renders.

Customizing Radius and Result Count

You can control how many nearby stores are shown and within what radius by using filters in your theme’s
functions.php
file:

Store Radius (in miles or km)

add_filter('asl_wc_store_radius', function($radius) {
    return 100; // Set custom radius (default is 500)
});

Limit Number of Store Results

add_filter('asl_wc_store_result_limit', function($limit) {
    return 5; // Show max 5 nearby stores instead of default 10
});

These filters give developers control over the search behavior without modifying core plugin code.

The Multi-Store Addon for WooCommerce includes a Store Owner Notification feature that automatically notifies store managers when a new order is placed. This ensures that store managers receive real-time updates and can process orders efficiently.

How It Works

When a customer places an order, the system:

Identifies the store associated with the order.

Retrieves the store manager’s email address.

Sends an email notification containing order details, including:

Order ID

Customer details (name, email, phone, address)

Order total and payment details

Selected shipping method

Ordered products with quantities and prices

Prevents duplicate emails by marking the order as notified in the system.

Customizing the Email Template

If required, you can customize the store manager notification email template to match your business requirements. To do so:

Use a WooCommerce-compatible email customizer plugin, such as:

Email Customizer for WooCommerce – A powerful tool that allows you to design WooCommerce emails using a drag-and-drop interface.

Kadence WooCommerce Email Designer – A free plugin that provides a simple way to customize WooCommerce emails with a live preview.

YayMail – WooCommerce Email Customizer – Offers an intuitive builder with various customization options and integration support.

Install and activate the email customizer plugin of your choice.

Navigate to the WooCommerce > Emails section in your WordPress dashboard.

Locate the Store Manager Notification email and click Customize.

Modify the email template using the drag-and-drop builder or available settings:

Change the layout, fonts, and colors.

Modify text content, headers, and footers.

Add dynamic elements such as order details, customer information, or store branding.

Save your changes, and the system will use your customized email format.

Advanced Customization (For Developers)

For more advanced modifications, developers can manually edit the template files:

Locate the template files under:

asl-wc/includes/modules/email-notification/templates/emails/store-manager-email.php
(HTML template)

asl-wc/includes/modules/email-notification/templates/emails/plain/store-manager-email.php
(Plain text template)

Copy the template file to your theme folder to prevent overwrites during updates:

yourtheme/woocommerce/emails/store-manager-email.php

Edit the copied file and modify the email content as needed.

Save the changes, and WooCommerce will now use your customized email template.

Content of the Store Owner Email Template

The content of the email can be copied from here as well, instead of locating that in that modules directory.

<?php

*/

if (!defined('ABSPATH')) {
    exit;
}

Placing a product on backorder will allow your customers to order that product even though it is out of stock.

To label products as “on backorder” please follow the below steps.

Prerequisites

Before we begin, please be sure to have the following prerequisite options enabled on Multi store Addons for WooCommerce:

On the “Global” tab, make sure the “Store Visibility” option is set to “Product Stores”

On the “Products” tab, make sure the “Stock Management” option is set to “Location”

Users of the Multi Store Addons for WooCommerce have the ability to add a store selection widget on the checkout page.

When the store selection widget is added to the checkout page, your customers will be able to select a store from where they want their items to be delivered.

How to Enable the Store Selection Widget on the Checkout Page

To add a store selection widget to your checkout page, please follow the below steps:

Log into your WordPress account

Go to the “A Store Locator” plugin, and select the “WooCommerce” sub-tab

Head over to the “Products” tab and disable the “Product Page Widget” option, this will remove the store selection widget from product pages and place it on the checkout page

Click on “Save Settings”

Go back to the “Global” tab, and make a selection on the “Checkout Widget” option

Depending on your selection on the “Checkout Widget” option, the store selection widget can be in one of two forms:

Store locator – The store is selected via a store locator widget that shows all your stores on a map, and it also shows a list of all your stores

Select Dropdown – The store is selected through a dropdown menu that appears on the checkout page

Let’s go over both these options

“Store Locator” Store Selection Widget

Choosing the “Store Locator” on the “Checkout Widget” option will add a fully functioning store locator widget to the checkout page.

The store locator widget will show all your stores on a map, and it will also display a list of all your store.

Your customers will be able to choose a store by either clicking on a location on the map or by using the store list.

Having a store locator at the checkout page is an excellent way to provide your customers with a visual display of which of your stores are closest to their current location.

“Select Dropdown Store” Selection Widget

Choosing the “Store Dropdown” option on the “Checkout Widget” option will add a dropdown menu on the checkout page.

The “Mandatory Store Selection” option on the Muti Store Addons can prevent customers from placing an item if they have not selected a store from the store selection widget on the product page.

This option is very useful if you want your customers to actively define a store from where they want their order to be delivered from.

Store Selection Widget on The Product Page

If you place the store selection widget on individual product pages, then the “Mandatory Store Selection” option will prevent customers from adding a product to the cart until they select a store from the store selector widget.

To enable the above scenario, please follow the below steps:

Log into your WordPress account

Go to the “A Store Locator” plugin tab and select the “WooCommerce” sub-tab

Go to the “Products” tab, enable the “Product Page Widget” option, and click on “Save Settings”

The store selection widget will now be enabled on individual product pages

This guide explains how to extend the functionality of the third-party plugin WooCommerce Print Address Labels to include store-specific information from our plugin Multi-Store Addons for WooCommerce. By adding this custom code to your theme’s
functions.php
file, you can dynamically display additional address information related to specific stores within your address labels.

Feature Overview

When using both WooCommerce Print Address Labels and Multi-Store Addons for WooCommerce, you may want to include store details (such as store name, address, phone, etc.) in the printed address labels. This can be achieved by using dynamic placeholders like
[asl_title]
,
[asl_city]
,
[asl_phone]
, which automatically pull information from the Multi-Store Addons for WooCommerce plugin and insert it into the printed label.

How It Works

The placeholders in the address label template (e.g.,
[asl_title]
,
[asl_city]
) are dynamically replaced with the corresponding data from the store assigned to the order.

If the store associated with the order contains a particular piece of information (like the store’s title or phone number), the placeholders are replaced with the actual data.

This process is fully dynamic, allowing you to add custom store information to any WooCommerce address label.

Usage Instructions

To add store-specific information to your address labels, follow these steps:

Add the following code to your theme’s
functions.php
file:

add_filter('wpo_wclabel_address_format', 'custom_wpo_wclabel_address_format', 10, 2);

/**
* Customize the address format for WooCommerce address labels.
*
* @param string $custom_address_format The original address format.
* @param object $order The WooCommerce order object.
* @return string The modified address format.
*/
function custom_wpo_wclabel_address_format($custom_address_format, $order) {

    // Get the store ID from the order meta (assigned by Multi-Store Addons for WooCommerce)
    $asl_wc_store_id = $order->get_meta('asl-wc_store_id');

    // When the store ID exists
    if ($asl_wc_store_id) {

        // Check if the Agile Store Locator helper method exists
        if (method_exists("\AgileStoreLocator\Helper", 'get_store')) {

            // Get the store object based on the store ID
            $a_store = \AgileStoreLocator\Helper::get_store($asl_wc_store_id);

            // If the store exists
            if ($a_store) {

                // Match all placeholders that start with [asl_ and end with ]
                preg_match_all('/\[asl_(.*?)\]/', $custom_address_format, $matches);

                // Loop through the matches and replace the placeholders with store data
                foreach ($matches[0] as $key => $placeholder) {
                    // Extract the property name (e.g., 'title', 'city', etc.)
                    $property = $matches[1][$key];

                    // Check if the property exists in the store object
                    if (isset($a_store->$property)) {
                        // Replace the placeholder with the corresponding store property value
                        $custom_address_format = str_replace($placeholder, $a_store->$property, $custom_address_format);
                    } else {
                        // Optionally, remove the placeholder if the property doesn't exist
                        $custom_address_format = str_replace($placeholder, '', $custom_address_format);
                    }
                }
            }
        }
    }

    // Return the modified address format with replaced placeholders
    return $custom_address_format;
}

Customize the Address Format in Your Print Labels:

Now that the code is in place, you can use placeholders like the following in the address format of your WooCommerce Print Address Labels plugin:

[asl_title]: Displays the title of the store.

[asl_street]: Displays the street address of the store.

[asl_city]: Displays the city of the store.

[asl_state]: Displays the state of the store.

[asl_phone]: Displays the store’s phone number.

[asl_email]: Displays the store’s email address.

Result: When printing the address labels, the placeholders such as
[asl_title]
and
[asl_city]
will automatically be replaced with the actual store details related to the order.

Example:

If the store information for a particular order is as follows:

Store Name: “Downtown Store”

Street: “123 Main St.”

City: “New York”

State: “NY”

Phone: “(555) 123-4567”

Email: “store@example.com“

Then the address label might look like this:

Order #12345
John Doe
Downtown Store
123 Main St.
New York, NY
(555) 123-4567
store@example.com
