This document will explain the features that are available in the “Global” tab of the “Multi-Store Addons for WooCommerce” plugin.

1- Enable Module #

Enabling the  “Enable Module” option allows users and customers to see stock locations of certain products on either the product page or the cart page.

In addition, different product parameters (price, number of stock, etc.) can be assigned for the same product in different stock locations.

To assign product parameters for various stock locations, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to “products” and click on “edit”
  2. On the “product data” page select “location”
  3. Choose the stock locations where you want the product to appear and click on “Edit”
  4. Enter the stock number, store price, and sale price for each stock location and click on “Save” 
  5. Preview the changes if needed from the “Preview Changes” button

You and your customers will now be able to see the stock locations for certain products.

2- Show Out of Stock Locations #

Users are able to display out-of-stock locations for products by enabling the “Show out-of-stock locations” option.

Upon enabling this option the location where your product is not available will be displayed on the product page. If the “show out of stock” option is disabled, product pages will only show the location where the product is available.

To enable “Show out of stock location”, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the WooCommerce plugin on ASL
  2. Under the “Global” tab, click on “Show out-of-stock location” to enable it

Now your products will show an “out of stock” message for locations where the product is not available.

3- Must Select a Store #

This feature allows users to make it necessary for customers to select a store location before placing a product in their cart. If this option is left disabled, the store closest to the customer’s location will be chosen

To enable “Must Select a Store”, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin on Agile Store Locator
  2. Under the “Global” tab, click on “Must Select a Store” to enable it

Now your customer will need to select a store from where the product will be shipped before adding it to their cart.

4-  Enable Sale Price #

This feature allows users to display the sale price or discounted price of products. Turning this feature off will show only the regular price of your products.

To define the sale and regular price for your products, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin 
  2. Go to “Products” and click on “edit”
  3. On the “product data” page go to the “general” tab on the left-hand side
  4. Enter the product price and sale price
  5. Repeat for all necessary products

Now that you have defined the sale price for your products, to enable the “Enable Sale Price”, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin on Agile Store Locator
  2. Under the “Global” tab, click on “Enable Sale Price” to enable it

Your product will now show the sale price on the products page

5- Auto-Prompt Geolocation #

Enabling this feature will create a prompt on the product or cart page to detect the customer’s location so that the product can be shipped from the store nearest to them.

To Enable “Auto-Prompt Geolocation”, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin on Agile Store Locator
  2. Under the “Global” tab, click on “Auto-Prompt Geolocation” to enable it

Now your customers will be able to share their location so that the closest store can be used to ship products to them.

6- Enable Zones #

By using the “Enable Zone” option, users can assign stores with a “zone” that covers a certain area and specific shipping methods. For example, if a customer orders from a location “A”, the store that is assigned that zone with location “A” will be used to ship the product to the customer.

To enable “Enable Zones”, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin on Agile Store Locator
  2. In the “Global” tab, click on “Enable Zones” to activate it

Now that you have enabled “ Enable Zones”, you can create a zone and sign it to a store.

To create a “zone”, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the WooCommerce plugin and click on “Settings”
  2. Select “Shipping” and click on “Shipping zones”
  3. Click on “Add shipping zone” to add a new shipping zone
  4. On the next page, fill in the “Zone name”, “Zone region”, and “Shipping Methods” fields
  5. Click on “Save”

You have successfully created a new shipping zone.

To assign this zone to a store, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin on Agile Store Locator
  2. Navigate to the “Shipping Zones” tab
  3. You will see all the zone you have created on the next page, to assign a zone to a store simply click on “Assign”
  4. Assign the zone to a store by turning it “on” on the right-hand column
  5. You will get a message saying “Zone activated on this store”

That’s it! You have successfully assigned a “zone” to a store.

7- Store Display Type #

Users can use the “Store Display Type” feature to change the appearance of your store based on their preferences.

To enable “Store Display Typer”, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin on Agile Store Locator
  2. Under the “Global” tab, go to “Store Display Type”
  3. Select any one of the three types of store displays

Based on your selection the appearance of your store will change.

8- Stock Type #

The “Stock Type” feature allows users to manage their inventory from either store-wise locations or from a global (overall) stock.

To choose a stock type, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin on Agile Store Locator
  2. Navigate to the “Global” tab and select either “location” or “global” from the “Stock Type” option

Depending on what “stock type” you selected, you can manage the inventory for both options by following the below steps:

  1. For “Location” stock type:
    1. Go to “Products”, and click on “Edit”
    2. Click on “Locations”
    3. You can manage your stock for each store on the next screen
  2. For “Global” stock type:
    1. Go to “Products”, and click on “Edit”
    2. You can manage your stock from the “inventory” tab
9- Location Selection #

Users can choose to display the location selection menu on either the product page or the cart page using the “Location Selection” option.

To change the location selection widget to either the product page or the cart page, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin on Agile Store Locator
  2. On the “Global” tab, go to “Location Section”
  3. Select either “product page” or “cart page”

Based on your selection the location selection widget will now be o the product page or the cart page.

10- No# of Stores #

The feature allows users to select how many stores will appear on the search result page.

To change the store list count, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to the “Agile Stores Addons for WooCommerce” plugin on Agile Store Locator
  2. Under the “Global” tab, go to “No# store option” and type in a number

Now the number of stores on the search result page will change based on the number you entered.
